How do I calculate a 20% discount?
Enter the original price and 20 as the discount percentage. The tool calculates the discount amount (price times 0.20) and shows the final price (price minus discount).
How do stacked discounts work?
Stacked discounts are applied sequentially, not added together. A 20% discount followed by a 10% discount on a $100 item gives $72, not $70, because the second discount applies to the already-reduced price of $80.
Can I calculate the original price from the discounted price?
Yes. Switch to the reverse calculation mode, enter the final price and the discount percentage, and the tool will calculate what the original price was before the discount.
